Black Cat Road plays a free show at Portland Lobster Company tonight


Here we go! It’s the first Monday in June and I’ve got high hopes for this week. If you’re ready to show Monday what’s up, here are some things to check out including Gina & The Red Eye Flight at Portland House of Music, Jake Jacques at Andy’s Old Port Pub, Gnarly Charlie, Willicker & Wyld Lyfe at Flask Lounge and more!


Local pop-rock n’ roller Michael Krapovicky returns to host another free Open Mic at Pedro O’Hara’s. Join in on the musical revelry as this all ages event get underway around 6:30pm.


Black Cat Road is back at Portland Lobster Company this evening. The act will be lighting up the outdoor deck with their funky, soulful and rootsty blues tunes as tonight’s free event gets underway right around 6:30pm.

If you’re looking to check out a little Americana action this Monday evening make some moves to Andy’s Old Port Pub on Commercial Street to see Jake Jacques perform during tonight’s free show which gets underway right around 7 o’clock.

Check out a Monday night full of funk, soul and rock and roll as Gnarly Charlie, Willicker and Wyld Lyfe play a free show at Flask Lounge starting at 8.

Get after it tonight with another Funky Monday featuring Gina and the Red Eye Flight Crew. The band, which is basically most of the members of Model Airplane, back up this talented songstress for some funk, soul and R&B jams that are guaranteed to place as the good times get rollin’ right around 9 at Portland House of Music and Events.
