It wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without local act The Squid Jiggers so make some plans tonight to check out this talented folk duo as they perform as part the Universalist Church of Auburn‘s Concerts for a Cause series. A portion of the proceeds from tonight’s show will benefit the church as well as community outreach programs. Traditional Irish tunes and original songs will start up at 7:30pm.
Local cover act The Depths are doing double-duty tonight as they also perform at the Fire House Grill this St. Patrick’s Day. Beginning at 8:30 they’ll be playing all kinds of danceable tunes from a variety of different genres during this free and all-ages show.
Acoustic Americana act Double Entendre will be playing a set at the Gin Mill in Augusta this evening. This talented duo will start making some savory sounds starting right around 7:30pm.
The Juke Rockets bring their high-energy Chicago and delta blues back to the Hollywood Casino tonight. Join these talented Midcoast musicians as they take the stage for this free show right around 8pm.
Central Maine rock cover band Dakota will be bringing the thunder to the stage of the Penobscot Pour House as they play songs from such acts as Bon Jovi, Shinedown, Bush, Aerosmith, Journey, Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, and more beginning at 8pm.
Get the weekend started with the musical antics of local 4-piece act Smoked Salmon as they bring their eclectic range of sounds to Bowen’s Tavern in Belfast tonight. There’ll be lots of tunes in the vein of Phish, The Dead, The Band, Dylan, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bowie and many more as things get started up at 7.
Local roots-rocker Travis James Humphrey will be serving up some traditional Irish tunes along with his usual repertoire of fun tunes over at Champions in Biddeford beginning at 6pm.

Local folk-rock cover act Rippleton Cross will be at The Daniel Coast Bar + Bistro tonight. This free, all-ages show will feature the pair performing renditions of songs by such artists as The Who, Joe Jackson, Simon & Garfunkel, Cat Stevens and many more as things get started at 7pm.
Maine-based folk rock act The Galley Rats will be serving up some Celtic tunes alongside some of their own original jams for a fun St. Paddy’s Day evening at The Rack. Join these fellas for some festive Friday night fun as the music statrs up at 9 o’clock.
Local artist Justin Walton will be playing some acoustic tunes during a free show at Gritty’s in Freeport. Enjoy some great music, local brews, and delicious pub fare as things get underway at 8.
Local acoustic duo Harvard Cavemen will be serving up a bunch of classic cover tunes at the School Street Pub & Grill this Friday evening. Join the fellas for some free fun as tonight’s show gets underway right around 8:30.
If you’re in Gray tonight and looked to get shamROCKED (jeepers, I’m sorry), make some plans to take in some loud, awesome hard rock and roll at White’s Cue Connection where beginning at 8pm you can check out sets from The Resistance, Dark Rain, Tyler Voter and L.F.M.
Local rock and roller Riff Johnson will be bringing the party to The Quarry Tap room this afternoon for a free, acoustic show that’ll get crankin’ right around 4:30.

Best described as a folk, funk and rock venture, this band is known for its strong vocal harmonies. Expect a wide range of styles and fun as things get underway tonight.
Alter Igor brings some fun to your St. Paddy’s Day festivities with a free show at The Kennebec Wharf. Beginning at 9 these fellas will be bringing their party-starting classic rock cover tunes to the stage. They’ll be playing renditions of such artists at Nick Lowe, The Who and tones more so check it out if you’re in the area this evening.
Portland rock band OC and the Offbeats bring their brand of blues-infused, soulful rock and/or roll to Federal Jack’s tonight for some sweet St. Paddy’s Day jams. Join this energetic bunch for some awesome tunes and times as things start up right around 10pm.

Jeezum Crow brings some Americana, rock, country, alternative, folk, and rockabilly back to The Frog and Turtle tonight. Join them as this free show starts at 8:30.
