Alt-rock act Zealous Bellus returns to Gritty’s in Auburn tonight for another free and fun par-tay. Let the good times roll as this shindig gets shaking at 8.
Tons of good vibes will be happening up at Lost Valley tonight as they welcome local jam band Continental Shakedown for a night of country, blues, jazz, improve, reggae, and rock and roll. This free show gets started at 8.
Kick off the freakin’ weekend by busting a move to some classic rock covers as Amber Jack returns to the Hollywood Casino for a free show that’ll get rockin’ and rollin’ right around 8pm.
No Warning will be serving up all of your favorite party tunes tonight as they kick off a two night stint at the Penobscot Pour House at 9 o’clock.

Local folk-rocker Brian Patricks returns to The Daniel Coast Bar + Bistro this evening. Patricks intertwines finger-style, rhythmic guitar with a hint of harmonica into his sets of originals and covers that span the folk, blues, roots and rock genres. Modern country and rockabilly cover act the Whiskey Sour Band will get you boot-scootin’ out on the dance floor of Skip’s Lounge tonight as they play a free show starting up at 9pm.
Blues rock artist Jon King brings his trio up to The Rack this Friday. King’s music is well-known for his tight blend of blues and rock with a solid emphasis on guitar sounds. Check him and his band out for yourself as things get swinging right around 9 o’clock.
Bethel-based band The Northside Ramblers bring their jammy medley of styles including rock, blues, folk, funk, and jazz to Easy Street Lounge tonight for a free show that’ll get swinging at 9.
Local blues and R&B act The Colwell Brothers will be performing at The Kennebec Wharf this evening. Join the band as things get swinging at 9pm.
Local musicians Tommy O’Connell and Eric Green join forces as The OG’s tonight as they bring some blues tunes to the stage of Guthries for a free and all ages show that’ll start up at 8 o’clock.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH
JJ’s Eatery welcomes local musician Mike Preston for some acoustic country tunes tonight. This free and all ages show gets started up right around 6:30.
Local artist Scott Lank will be playing at GFB Scottish Pub this evening. Starting at 8pm stop by to enjoy this free show featuring Lank’s performances of familiar classic rock and country from the 60s and 70s, as well a little bit of bluegrass, ballads and uptempo rockers.
Cover act Stolen Mojo will be playing some pop, rock, Motown, R&B, funk, disco and country jams from the last five decades during a free show at The Brunswick. Join in on the dance party as things get grooving right around 8:30.
Another free show happens this Friday at The Dogfish Bar & Grille as Americana/roots rocker Travis James Humphrey returns with some Happy Hour tunes. Travis’ performance begins at 5 o’clock.
Singer-songwriter Jason Ager brings his classic soul, R&B, and rock influenced tunes to the stage of Blue tonight for a performance that will begin at 6pm.
Get your weekend underway with lots of stringed things, foot stomping, and good times as Andy’s Old Port Pub welcomes back Mountain Emergency for an evening filled with bluegrass music. This free event is all ages and gets underway right around 7 o’clock.
Over at The Dogfish Bar & Grille local act The Waiters will be serving up some quality tunes for you to enjoy this finally Friday. The Waiters will be dishing out all of your favorite cover tunes starting right around 8 during this free, all ages event.
Front man for roots rock outfit Barefoot Truth, Will Evans, will be performing at One Longfellow Square this Friday evening. Local artist Pete Miller and his band will kick things off tonight with Miller’s blend of indie and folk sounds as things get underway at 8.
Bonaroo darlings and breakout act of the post-Phish jam band circuit, Umphrey’s McGee is back in Portland tonight for an all ages show over at the State Theatre. Joshua Redman and SPAFFORD will kick things off as music starts up at 8 o’clock.
Blue welcomes musician Bob Warren to the stage tonight. With his roots in the folk troubadour tradition, Bob’s writing is surprisingly diverse. From musicals to rock and everything in between, his music shares his humor, wit, and heart. Check out this evening’s performance as things get underway at 8pm.
Work it out at Port City Music Hall in Portland this finally Friday as a whole lotta dancing is sure to be going on with John Brown’s Body and special guests Raging Brass Reggae. The infectious funk, soul, reggae and dub sounds get going right around 8 o’clock tonight.

If you’re looking to have some secret, and not-so-secret, cries to some of the tunes you might’ve enjoyed as a high schooler than make some moves to reminisce about all things white belt, swoopy side-bangs and clove cigarettes as EMO Night returns to Portland House of Music and Events. This emo-tastic event will feature all the tunes of your youth, including a full set of tunes from the band Alkaline Trio, as things get started up right around 9 o’clock.

Folk-rock cover act Rippleton Cross will be performing an acoustic set at the Silver Street Tavern in Waterville. This free show will feature the pair performing renditions of songs by such artists as The Who, Joe Jackson, Simon & Garfunkel, Cat Stevens and many more as things get started right around 8pm.
Local alt-country rock and roll act, The Mallett Brothers Band is geared up for a show at Mainely Brews tonight. Boot stompin’, whiskey drinkin’, and guitar slingin’ will get started up on stage right around 9 tonight.
If you’re looking to blow off some steam and tap your toes to a little bluegrass then make some moves to Lenny’s at Hawkes Plaza as the Potato Pickers take to the stage for a free show beginning at 7 o’clock.
Live at 212 in Westbrook will be rocking and rolling once again with the heavy-hitting sounds of acts Noisebreaker, Hogans Alley, Dirty Rotten Winter, and The Lipstick Boys. This rager gets rockin’ right around 8pm and rolls on all night long.
Phil Divinsky and his Americana-tinged rhythm & blues band return to The Frog & Turtle in Westbrook tonight. You can enjoy some soulful sounds starting at 8:30 at this fabulous gastro pub located in downtown Westbrook.
Check out local musician Ron Bergeron as he plays a free show at Gilbert’s Chowder House in Windham tonight. Ron will be getting things kicked into gear right around 6 o’clock with tons great covers from The Beatles, Stones, Queen, Elvis, The Boss, Tom Petty, Paul Simon and many more.
