Check out some tunes from Portland’s only Brazilian choro ensemble, Choro Louco as they play a free show as part of Frontier’s Live in the Lounge music series. Choro Louco features local musicians Carl Dimow, Nicole Rabata, Joel Eckhaus, Eric LaPerna, and David Newsmam. This evening’s performance gets underway at 7:30.
The Working Dead are back to bring the good vibes to Portland House of Music and Events this evening. This trio of talented, local musicians will be serving up some Happy Hour, Grateful Dead jams during a free show that starts at 5pm.

He’ll be joined by indie pop-rock songstress Megan Burtt this evening as music gets underway right around 8 over at One Longfellow Square.
SPACE Gallery hosts an evening of genre-defying music as Massachusetts-based band Show Me the Body comes to town. SMTB combines elements of punk and hardcore, hip-hop and electronic music, folk and indie-rock for some powerful, unrelenting sounds that are completely unique. Rounding out tonight’s bill will be the digital hardcore rage of Phallus Uber Alles, the blown-out skronk and roll of Safe/Word, and the multi-sensory chaos of Nycterent. This 18+ event begins at 8pm.
