Local band Relish brings their alternative and new wave sounds to Banded Horn Brewing Company tonight. Enjoy some Maine made brews and tunes as this free show starts up at 7 o’clock.
Drummer Chris Sweet and guitarist Evan Haines team up tonight for a night of smooth instrumental sounds at Elements. This free and all-ages show will get swinging at 8pm.
Local folk-rock musician Brian Patricks returns to The Daniel Coast Bar + Bistro this evening. Patricks intertwines finger-style, rhythmic guitar with a hint of harmonica into his sets of originals and covers that span the folk, blues, roots and rock genres. Check out this free all ages show as things begin at 7 o’clock.
Skip’s Lounge welcomes 13 Black tonight as the cover band performs popular 70’s classics, 80’s pop and hair metal, 90’s alternative, and today’s radio hits during a free show that’ll get swinging at 9 o’clock.
Step into the zone, The Metal Zone (I couldn’t help myself…) at White’s Cue Connection tonight. Starting at 7 o’clock Juboybe, Angel Slayer, The Argon Red, Years Go By and Dirty Rotten Winter are teaming up to melt some faces with some heavy hitting metal music. Indie pop duo Builder of the House will be joined by Chris Gilman on electric guitar for an early evening performance at Blue tonight. Don’t miss your chance to check out this unique and talented act in a beautifully intimate setting as the music starts up at 6pm.
The Potato Pickers return to Andy’s Old Port Pub with some fun bluegrass sounds during a free and all-ages show that starts at 7 o’clock.

Over at The Dogfish Bar & Grille local act The Waiters will be serving up some quality tunes for you to enjoy this finally Friday. The Waiters will be playing all of your favorite cover tunes from a variety of different genres and decades beginning at 8 o’clock.
Connecticut-based funk act Kung Fu will be kicking the weekend into high gear down at Port City Music Hall with a set of originals and a set of Steely Dan covers! Things get underway at 8 during this 18+ show with an opening set from soul/funk band, West End Blend.
Local drummer Chicky Stoltz will be drumming up some action with a free show at Salvage BBQ tonight. Chicky’s music is both dark and charming and shifts between bar blues and Americana, so be sure to check him out tonight as things get underway right around 8:30pm.
BARISHI bring their gritty progressive metal to the stage of SPACE Gallery tonight. Having shared the stage with undeniable extreme music staples Mastodon, Author & Punisher, Today Is The Day, and Weedeater, BARISHI provide the listener with earth-shattering grooves and brutal vocals born in the mountains of Vermont. Alt-rock act Now is Now will be rockin’ RiRa tonight. Join these talented dudes for some serious fun as this free Friday night show starts up at 10.
Rockbottom will be bringing some classic rock hits to the stage of Mixers tonight. Dance the night away to cover tunes from such bands as ZZ Top, The Stones, Jimi Hendrix, CCR, Skynyrd and more as this free show gets shakin’ right around 8:30.
Get ready to have your face melted off and your ears blown out by Oh The Humanity, Crowfeeder, Time Out Timmy, Not 30, Zukie Fury, Gant, The Keeper Class, Wussy and Spillers tonight as things get really loud and really awesome during this free rock show over at Live at 212. Music starts at 7.
Guitarist Denny Breau will be playing a set of songs over at Lenny’s at Hawkes Plaza this finally Friday. Breau’s parents, Hal Lone Pine and Betty Cody, were Maine-based country stars in the 1940s and 50s. Check out his performance of acoustic-based tunes as this free and all-ages event gets underway at 7pm.
Phil Divinsky and his Americana-tinged rhythm & blues band return to The Frog & Turtle in Westbrook tonight. You can enjoy some soulful sounds starting at 8:30 at this fabulous gastro pub located in downtown Westbrook.
