Local party band The GE3ks will be bringing the good times to Mine Oyster in Boothbay Harbor tonight. Starting at 9 get ready to bust a move to some of the best 80’s pop, dance, New Wave, hard rock, rap and one hit wonder tunes around.
The Anthony Branca Trio will be throwing down an incredible evening of jazz over at the Local Buzz this evening. With a repertoire of originals, standards, and jazz improvisation, you’ll find something for all of your jazz listening needs beginning at 6pm.
Stesha Cano and her talented band mates will be performing Easy Street Lounge this Friday. Starting at 9 you can check out this free show that’ll feature Stesha’s original blues and jazz jams.
Local blues and R&B act The Colwell Brothers will be performing at The Kennebec Wharf this evening. Join the band as things get swinging at 9pm.
Modern country and rockabilly cover act the Whiskey Sour Band will get you boot-scootin’ out on the dance floor of Trains Tavern in Lebanon tonight as they play a free show starting up at 8pm.
Local folk troubadour Max Garcia Conover will be up at Guthries this Friday evening. Join MGC for some sweet acoustic sounds as things start up at 8 during this free and all ages event.
Local pop-rock cover act The Nikki Hunt Band will be bringing the party to The Crooked Hook Tavern in Mechanic Falls tonight. Covering artists such as Sheryl Crow, Joan Jett, Bruce Springsteen, Sublime, No Doubt, The Doors, U2 and many more there’s guaranteed to be something for everyone. Tonight’s performance will also include a colorful hula hoop act so be sure to check it out starting at 9pm.

Cover act Stolen Mojo will be playing some pop, rock, Motown, R&B, funk, disco and country jams from the last five decades during a party out at The Brunswick tonight. Join in on the dance party as this free show gets underway at 8:30.
Radio Revival is back at The Pier Patio Pub tonight with tons of songs for you to groove to including covers of Queen, Billy Squier, Bowie, Tom Petty, Talking Heads, Led Zeppelin, The Strokes, Thin Lizzy, Weezer and more. This free show gets rockin’ and rollin’ at 9pm.
Southern Maine cover band Country Roads will be bringing the boot-scootin’ boogie to The Bull and Brew in OOB tonight as they play tunes from such acts as Florida Georgia Line, George Strait, Jason Aldrean, Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn and much, much more during a fun Friday night show that’ll get fired up at 9.
Singer-songwriter and jazz man Andy Pratt will be jazzing up your Happy Hour this Friday as he and his band mates, Matt Holt on Bass and Brian Friedland on keys, bring some of Pratt’s tunes to Flask Lounge this evening. Check out a mix of jazz, beat poetry and rock and roll as this free show starts at 6pm.
Talented, local songstress Clara Junken will be holding it down once again at Blue tonight. Andy’s Old Port Pub welcomes back Maine-based, acoustic alternative artist John Hasnip this evening. Starting around 7 John will be playing some fun tunes for you to bust a move or two to this Friday.
Over at Portland Lobster Company you can join Vinyl Tap out on the deck as they play all kinds of classic jams during a free show. Vinyl Tap is known for making people bust a move to their wide array of danceable cover tunes that span between everything from everything The Beatles to Huey Lewis, Cee Lo Green, Stevie Wonder, The Dead and many, many more. American Ride will be busting out a bunch of modern country covers for you to boogie down to this evening as they play a free show at The Porthole beginning at 7pm.
Tonight Blue welcomes Brooklyn band, Everything Turned to Color. Everything Turned to Color is the musical merry work of veteran songwriters Bryan and Kyle Weber and Neha Jiwrajka. Awash in melody and whimsically reminiscent of the folk and jazz songsmiths of yesteryear, the group delivers heartfelt compositions echoing the nostalgia of generations past. Jersey rock and rollers the Hudson Falcons are joining forces with Portland’s own Celtic punk-rockers The Pubcrawlers for a roof top show at Mathew’s tonight. The party starts at 8 o’clock.

Five-piece blues band the Tumbledown Saints will be bringing some smooth sounds to Salvage BBQ tonight. J.E. Sunde, the velvet-voiced former frontman of Wisconsin chamber-pop trio The Daredevil Christopher Wright, will be making some music on stage at SPACE Gallery this Friday evening. Sunde will be joined by Portland’s own folk troubadour Caroline Cotter as well as local folk-rock outfit Starcrossed Losers, who will open the evening with a stripped down set starting at 8:30pm.
Soulful roots-rock act, Chris Ross and The North will be celebrating the release of their new record, Over Lonesome, with a show at Portland House of Music and Events this evening. This talented troupe of Maine-bred fellas is a must-see for fans of Zac Brown Band, John Hiatt, Jason Isbell and other such imaginative storytellers. Tonight they’re joined by Portland electro-pop-rock outfit, Armies for an all-ages show that’ll start at 9pm.
Local hip-hop heavy, The King of Maine himself, Spose returns to the stage of Port City Music Hall tonight for what will most likely be a PDank extravaganza of epic proportions. Spizzy will be joining his crew of Cam Groves, God.Damn.Chan and Shane Reis for an all ages event that’ll get swinging right around 9 o’clock.
Get down on it with some of the best alt-rock tunes the 90s ever gave us with Hello Newman as they throw a party upstairs at Bull Feeney’s tonight. Grab some pals, drink some drinks, and enjoy tunes from such bands as Sublime, Blink 182, the GinBlossoms, Everclear, No Doubt and even Chumbawumba (yes, I just said Chumbawumba) as the (free) party starts right around 9:30.
Blue welcomes back jazz, funk and fusion act Sassquatch for some serious getting down on this finally Friday. Get into the groove as things get fun and funky during this free all ages show starting up at 10pm.
Dance it out at RiRa tonight as dance/pop cover act Tickle returns to bring the house down with some of the best of today’s music mixed in with a little bit of retro-funk. The party starts at 10pm.
Boston-based Beatles tribute band, Studio Two, will be taking you back to the early 60’s, a time when The Fab Four were truly taking the world by storm, as these talented lads return to the stage of Mixers. Join these fab fellas for some serious nostalgia as the music starts at 8:30pm.
Brooklyn steamboat soul/roots revival act Roosevelt Dime is returning to Waldo County alongside Jenna Lotti (a sweet soul singer-songwriter from Boston) and Harry Jay & The Bling (spirited neo-soul-funk from DC) for a party at Threshers Brewing Company in Searsport. The fun starts right around 6 this finally Friday.
The Potato Pickers return to Lenny’s at Hawkes Plaza with some fun bluegrass sounds during a free and all-ages show that starts at 7 o’clock.
Called “the finest rock songwriter after Dylan and the best electric guitarist since Hendrix” by the Los Angeles Times and named by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the Top 20 Guitarists of All Time, Richard Thompson is also one of the world’s most critically acclaimed and prolific songwriters and tonight you can see him perform live at Westbrook Performing Arts Center. This all-ages show will get underway at 8pm.
Phil Divinsky and his Americana-tinged rhythm & blues band return to The Frog & Turtle in Westbrook tonight. You can enjoy some soulful sounds starting at 8:30 at this fabulous gastro pub located in downtown Westbrook.
