Local pop-rock singer-songwriter Michael Krapovicky returns to his post as host for another Open Mic event at Pedro O’Hara’s. Starting at 6:30pm all musicians are welcome to sign up and perform some tunes in front of an audience of peers and music-lovers alike during this free and fun event.
Andy’s Old Port Pub welcomes singer-songwriter Timothy Gurshin for an early evening of acoustic music. If you’re downtown tonight, stop by and take in some tunes as this all-ages free show starts at 7pm.
Make your way down to Otto’s lower Congress Street location and dispel any bad Monday vibes with some bluegrass and pizza. Local bluegrass musician Joe Walsh will be joined by a few of his friends for a Monday evening chock full of musical merriment Tap your toes and have some fun as this free show starts up at 8:30pm.

Another funky Monday makes itself known at Portland House of Music and Eventstonight as The Longfellows return for some serious fun. The band, which is a collection of some of Portland’s funkiest players including members of Model Airplane, Jaw Gems, The Fogcutters, Micromasse Connor Garvey Band, and more, will be bringing the fun and funk to the stage as things get kickin’ right around 9.
Monday of the Minds: A Night of Introspective Hip Hop returns to Flask Lounge tonight. Check out sets from Crimewave alongside Farout, eyenine, Seth on Gray Street and Ben Shorr. There’ll also be a cypher for any emcees who want to get up and freestyle so be sure to stop through and check out this free show as things get started up at 9 o’clock.
Even more Open Mic action to check out tonight happens down at the Kerrymen Pub in Saco. Starting at 7:30 both solo musicians and full bands are welcome to take to the stage and do their thing in front of an audience of music lovers and peers.
