Check out D.R.I. with Sunlord, Leash, Jimmy Jacked & Gant at Geno’s tonight

Monday was all kinds of bologna sandwiches in my opinion, therefore I have a pretty good feeling about Tuesday. It’s looks like tonight is going to try and take things to a different level, so if you’re ready and willing to get weird, here’s some stuff to check out, including Toby McAllister at Easy Day, Keanu Keanu at Portland Lobster Company, Travis James Humphrey at Gritty’s, an open mic with Uke n’ Smile at Sea Dog Brewing Company and more!

My Skeleton, a local acoustic act consisting of musicians Alex Roy and Matt Libby, will be performing a free show out at Champions. Join these fellas for some Monday night fun beginning at 9pm.

Folk-rock musician Brian Patricks will be at Fast Breaks in Lewiston this evening. Patricks intertwines finger-style, rhythmic guitar with a hint of harmonica into his sets of originals and covers that span the folk, blues, roots and rock genres. Check out this free all ages show as things begin at 7 o’clock.

Tonight Blue welcomes the tender folk-rock sounds of Genevieve Beaudoin alongside dynamic, lyric-driven Americana act The Loblolly Boy. They pair will be joined by a few friends as music gets started up at 6pm.

Psychedelic folk-rocker Dominic Lavoie and a couple of his friends come together this evening to play some tunes as Keanu Keanu over at Portland Lobster Company. Check out a set of both original jams and cover tunes as this free shindig gets swinging around 6:30pm.

Geno’s is the place to be tonight for some punk rock. Tonight they welcome D.R.I. aka Dirty Rotten Imbeciles. D.R.I. were one of the first acts to fuse hardcore punk with thrash metal, along with such bands as Suicidal Tendencies and Corrosion of Conformity. Tonight Sunlord, Leash, Jimmy Jacked and Gant will round out this rad bill as things get cranking right around 7 o’clock.

Flask Lounge in Portland presents another open mic for DJs with their free dance party, which allows up and coming record spinners to take a chance and get up on the tables during the event. All you need to bring are your records, CDs and controller. All formats of music are welcome as the party starts right around 9 o’clock, so check it out.

Check out a free show at Gritty’s tonight as roots rocker Travis James Humphrey plays a set starting up at 9.
