I know that some of you might actually have today off, but I am in full Monday mode. If you are too, and find that you’re in need of some assistance when it comes to dissolving any Case of the Mondays, here are some tunes to check tonight including Muddy Ruckus at Portland Lobster Company, Frank Donovan at Andy’s, Gina & The Red Eye Flight Crew at Portland House of Music and more!

LEWISTON

Pop-rock musician Michael Krapovicky returns to host another free Open Mic at Pedro O’Hara’s. Join in on the musical revelry as this all ages event get underway around 6:30pm.

PORTLAND

Your last chance to catch folk-rocker Eric Bettencourt out on the Portland Lobster Company deck happens this afternoon. Betts and some buds will be filling your Monday with some roots, Americana and folk-rock goodness during a free, all-ages show that starts up at 12:30. Make some plans to enjoy this day with Eric before he ships back down south to keep things weird in Austin, TX.

Muddy Ruckus will be making your Monday a bit merrier with a free show out on the deck of the Portland Lobster Company tonight. This gypsy blues-folk act will kick things off right around 6pm.

Frank Donovan, of local rock-reggae act Brothers Donovan, goes solo tonight with an acoustic performance down at Andy’s Old Port Pub on Commercial Street. Starting right around 7 Frank will be singing some songs that are certain to ease the pain of another Monday, so swing through and have some fun if you’re out and about this evening.

Funky Mondays continue to be the perfect the place to get down as Gina Alibrio and the Red Eye Flight Crew bring you some of the funkiest, fun and soul-filled sounds around. Alibrio’s impressive pipes are backed by a band featuring members of Model Airplane so you know you’re gonna have a wicked good time boogie-ing down to some terrific tunes as things get started at 9 over at Portland House of Music and Events.
