Neat and Clean, a Hallowell based musical duo that formed in 1980 consisting of Kenny Cox and Dave Gagne, will be back on stage at Slates tonight. Join them for some musical merriment this Monday evening as things start up at 8:15.
If you’re in the Lewiston area this Monday, drop by Pedro O’Hara’s where local pop-rocker Michael Krapovicky will be hosting another installment of his weekly acoustic Open Mic event. Tonight’s free event gets underway at 6:30 and is open to all, so grab an instrument and get ready to make some music, and some new friends tonight!
Andy’s Old Port Pub welcomes singer-songwriter Tyler Smylo for an all ages and free acoustic performance that’ll get underway at 7pm.
Prolific solo artist Frankie Cosmos comes to Portland tonight for a show at SPACE Gallery. Cosmos is known for tapping into the D.I.Y. ethos of K Records and the early-2000’s NYC anti-folk scene. Tonight Brooklyn indie rock quartet Big Thief and the the experimental-rock-art-garage-something-punk-psychotropic-kind-of-music of YAIRMS will round out this bill as things get underway at 8.
