Toronto based power-funk group After Funk has been causing a ruckus on the North American music scene with their unique sound and infectiously fun shows since their inception in 2011. Tonight they bring the party to the stage of the Empire alongside Portsmouth’s funk-hop outfit Harsh Armadillo and Portland’s own feel-good collective Happy Folk as things get underway upstairs right around 9:30.
If you’re in the Rockland area head out to Eclipse for a great night of food and music as they welcome Carl Root for a free early evening show this Thursday.
