Check out Marco Benevento with Micromasse at One Longfellow Square tonight

Make no ifs, ands, or buts about it, I do not prefer Monday, but thankfully there are a bunch of individuals who have decided that they know how to turn a Monday frown upside down and happily put on awesome events all around town to help all of us do just that. So here you go, check it out, and have some fun at such shows as Mothership Mondays with Andrew Bailie & Company at Portland House of Music and Events, Krystian Beal at Andy’s Old Port Pub, and more!

HALLOWELL

Get the week started with with one heck of a party at Easy Street Lounge as epic jam band Hambone brings some musical merriment to your Monday with an open jam welcome to all. Starting at 9 check out Hambone’s soulful, energetic jams and even sit and play some of your own.

LEWISTON

If you’re anywhere near the Lewiston area this Monday, drop by Pedro O’Hara’s where local pop-rocker Michael Krapovicky will be hosting another installment of his weekly acoustic open mic event. Tonight’s free event gets underway at 6:30 and is open to all, so grab an instrument and get ready to make some music, and some new friends tonight!

PORTLAND

Acoustic singer-songwriter Krystian Beal will be playing a free show over at Andy’s Old Port Pub this Monday evening. This all ages event will get underway at 7 o’clock.

Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist, Marco Benevento brings his experimental rock stylings back to Portland this evening with a show at One Longfellow Square. Benevento’s sounds crosses between experimental jazz and catchy indie rock, and definitely shouldn’t be missed. Local organ-based, jazz trio Micromasse will open the night as music starts at 8 o’clock.

Check out another Mothership Monday with Andrew Bailie & Crew down at Portland House of Music and Events tonight. Bailie and friends will be funkifying the start to your working week with some super fun jams as things get swinging at 9.
