If you’re spending your Monday in Lewiston, drop on by Pedro O’Hara’s as local pop-rocker Michael Krapovicky hosts another acoustic Open Mic. Tonight’s free and fun musical gathering gets started up right around 6:30, so grab an instrument and get ready to make some music this evening!
Andy’s Old Port Pub will be hosting some acoustic, old school Louisiana blues as they welcome back Poor Howard to the stage this Tuesday evening. Tonight’s all ages, free show starts up around 7 o’clock.
Make some Monday moves to Otto’s lower Congress Street location and chase away any bad Monday vibes with some fine bluegrass music and delicious pizza. Local bluegrass musician Joe Walsh will be joined by Lincoln Meyers, Steve Roy, and Lukas Pool for a Monday evening chock full of musical merriment. Monday of the Minds: A Night of Introspective Hip Hop returns to Flask Lounge tonight. Check out Cody Pope alongside Stevie Cash and Jamal Cooley as these bright emcees deliver some inspiring rhymes during this free show, which gets underway at 9 o’clock tonight.
Mondays continue to be one of the most soulful days of the week down at Portland House of Music and Events. The Longfellows, a collection of some of Portland’s funkiest players which boasts members of Model Airplane, Jaw Gems, The Fogcutters, Micromasse Connor Garvey Band, and more, will be bringing the fun and funk to the stage as music starts up around 9.
Check out some entertaining Open Mic action at the Kerrymen Pub in Saco where starting at 7:30 both solo musicians and full bands are welcome to take to the stage and do their thing in front of an audience of music lovers and peers alike. Tonight’s event is free and certain to be a lot of fun, so swing through if you’re in the area this Monday.
