Holy Hannah Montana Miley Cyrus, it’s Tuesday! I know it isn’t really that large of an accomplishment, but if you could understand how much I punished my own body this weekend, you would completely understand what a feat it is that I powered through Monday. If you’re looking for something to do this evening, here’s what’s going down all around town and beyond, including Blue Prairie at Andy’s, Ryan Halliburton and The Still at Portland Lobster Company, An Anderson, Cushing, Burr & Chung Antique at Geno’s and more.

PORTLAND

Take on another Tuesday with some free music over at the Portland Lobster Company as Ryan Halliburton and The Still return to the deck with some fun pop-rock during a free all-ages show that’ll start up at 6.

Blue Prairie brings some country and western tunes to Andy’s Old Port Pub this Tuesday evening. Enjoy some toe-tapping sounds as things start up at 7pm.

Blue welcomes back the Kelly Laurence Quartet for another Tuesday evening of jazz tunes. This show gets underway at 8 o’clock.

Award-winning slam poet and rapper Watsky is back in Portland tonight for an all-ages show at Port City Music Hall tonight. Things start up at 9 with sets from fellow hip-hop heavies Witt Lowry and Daye Jack.

Another Open DJ Night happens over at Flask Lounge. Starting at 9, you can sign up for a slot DJing on some open decks. All you need to bring are some records, CDs, and a pair of headphones. The event is free and guaranteed to be a good time, so go on and check it out.

Geno’s is the place to be this Tuesday for some post-rock, math-metal and everything in between as Seattle’s Chung Antique is joined by Portland acts An Anderson, Cushing, and Burr for a show that’ll start up right around 9.

SOUTH PORTLAND
