Get the weekend started with the musical antics of local 4-piece act Smoked Salmon as they bring their eclectic range of sounds to Easy Street Lounge tonight. There’ll be lots of tunes in the vein of Phish, The Dead, The Band, Dylan, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bowie and many more as things get started up at 9.
Local act Alter Igor returns to rock out at The Kennebec Wharf tonight with their party-starting classic rock tunes. The band will be playing everything from Nick Lowe to The Who and many, many more iconic rock n’ rollers as they get things underway inside at 9.

Local musician Phil Fortier will be filling Apple Valley Golf Course in Lewiston will some acoustic sounds during another free and all-ages Friday night performance that’ll get underway at 7pm.

Toby McAllister, of local pop-rock band Sparks The Rescue, goes solo tonight for an acoustic performance at Pedro O’Hara’s. Beginning at 8 o’clock Toby will be performing some of his favorite STR originals as well as some covers of popular tunes from the past 20 plus years.
Local four-piece cover act, Fighting Fiction will be providing the perfect soundtrack for your Friday night with a wide variety of material from all kinds of genres including modern pop, rock, alternative, country, classic rock and more. The band will be doing it to it with a free show starting at 8:30 at The Crooked Hook Tavern in Mechanic Falls.
Blue Steel Express brings their blend of blues, from full-blown electric house-rockin’ to low-down acoustic simmer, to Bray’s Brew Pub tonight. The good times get rollin’ during this free show at 8.
The Olde Bristol Days fundraising committee is hosting its third annual Rock the Harbor at The Contented Sole in New Harbor tonight. Portland reggae band, Stream Reggae will headline this evening alongside local classic rock cover act, Diamond in the Rough who’ll get things going right around 5pm. All proceeds from this shindig will go directly to the wonderful week of entertainment for the whole family known as the Olde Bristol Days, which happen in August.
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Griffin House brings his warm, sincere folk-rock at Jonathan’s in Ogunquit this evening. Recording and performing for over a decade, House has toured with Ron Sexsmith, Patti Scialfa, Josh Ritter, John Mellencamp, Mat Kearney, and The Cranberries. Guitar, bass and violin trio, Treble G bring their rock and pop instrumentals, which cover decades from the 80’s through today, to Jimmy The Greek’s in Old Orchard Beach this finally Friday. This free performance will begin at 5:30pm.
Dance it out The Brunswick tonight as dance/pop cover act Tickle gets ready to bring the house down with some of the best of today’s music mixed in with a little bit of retro funk. The party starts at 8:30.
Local band Radio Revival is back at The Pier tonight with tons of songs for you to groove to including covers of Queen, Billy Squier, Bowie, Tom Petty, Talking Heads, Led Zeppelin, The Strokes, Thin Lizzy, Weezer and more. This free show gets rockin’ and rollin’ at 9pm.
Southern Maine cover band Country Roads will be bringing the boot-scootin’ boogie to The Bull and Brew in OOB tonight as they play tunes from such acts as Florida Georgia Line, George Strait, Jason Aldrean, Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn and much, much more during a fun Friday night show that’ll get fired up at 9.
