Gritty’s in Auburn is the place to be for a Friday night full of rock and alternative covers as well as some super catchy original jams from local band Zealous Bellus. The fellas are ready to party on down as this free show starts up at 8 o’clock.


A fun night of progressive, alternative and modern rock will be taking over the Penobscot Pour House up in Bangor tonight as the Trendy Robots get ready to party with an electrifying set of songs that’ll start up at 8 o’clock.

The Daniel Inn Coast Bar + Bistro welcomes back local folk-rocker Brian Patricks. Patricks intertwines finger-style, rhythmic guitar with a hint of harmonica into his sets of originals and covers that span the folk, blues, roots and rock genres. Local singer-songwriter Justin Walton will be performing some acoustic tunes during a free show at Gritty’s in Freeport. Enjoy some great music, local brews and delicious food as things get started up at 8pm.

Get the weekend started with the musical antics of local 4-piece act Smoked Salmon as they bring their eclectic range of sounds to Easy Street Lounge. Local act Alter Igor returns to rock out at The Kennebec Wharf tonight with their party-starting classic rock tunes. The band will be playing everything from Nick Lowe to The Who and many, many more iconic rock n’ rollers as they get things underway inside at 9.


Maine-based bluegrass band Back Woods Road return to Guthries in Lewiston this Friday with an energetic set of acoustic tunes. Check out Back Woods Road’s tight harmonies, hard driving lead solos, and crowd-pleasing tunes as things get underway at 8pm during tonight’s free show.

Five-piece funk, rock and blues band Skosh brings the thunder to Pedro O’Hara’s. The band will be performing a mix of covers and originals as this free all-ages party gets underway at 8.

Local electro-pop rock act Dean Ford & The Keepsakes will be rockin’ Mr. Goodbar in Old Orchard Beach this finally Friday. Zeme Libre will be bringing the good times to the outdoor stage at Congress Square Park this evening with a high-energy set filled with Afro-fusion, hard-tinged reggae, and ska sounds. This free, all-ages concert starts at 6pm.

Grammy-winning guitarist, songwriter, and producer Eric Krasno and his band will be live at Portland House of Music and Events tonight in celebration of Krasno’s rousing new solo album Blood from a Stone. Krasno is also a founding member of Soulive and Lettuce and has worked with many Portland players, including Dave Gutter, whose electro-pop duo, Armies will open tonight’s show with a set starting up at 9 o’clock.
