Zeme Libre will be bringing the good times to the stage of Mine Oyster this evening with a high-energy set filled with Afro-fusion, hard-tinged reggae, and ska sounds. This free, all-ages concert starts at 9pm.
Ruthie Foster will be gracing the stage of the Stone Mountain Arts Center this evening. Foster’s take on Americana includes plenty of soul, blues, and gospel, which you can check out for yourself as her vocals fill the venue with sweet sounds starting at 8 o’clock.
Local electro-pop act Armies are bringing their duet style anthems that harken back to the French pop tunes of the sixties to the stage of Frontier tonight for the 5th Annual Singing for their Supper event, which is a benefit for the Mid-Coast Hunger Prevention Program. The night starts at 8 o’clock with an opening set from indie pop-rock act Amy and the Engine.
If you’re up in the Sugarloaf area this evening make some plans to stop by The Rack BBQ as local artist Jeff Kilton will be taking to the stage for a show featuring the songs of such artists as Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, The Grateful Dead, Pearl Jam, The Band, Led Zep, Bob Marley and more. Tonight’s free show begins at 7pm.
Husband and wife alt-country act The Mastersons will be performing in Ellsworth tonight as they take to the stage of The Grand starting at 7:30pm.

I have been looking forward to tonight’s show over at Portland House of Music and Events since it was first announced because it is guaranteed to be an absolute hoot! Make sure you shimmy on downtown to celebrate local rockabilly act King Memphis’ 25th anniversary show as they take to the stage with a slew of special guests and their original drummer Gary Burton!
