If you’re south of Portland tonight and looking to take in some tasty roots rock jams then make your way down to Champions Sports Bar in Biddeford where Travis James Humphrey will be playing a solo set of tunes. Humphrey will be doing his thing starting at 9. It’s a free event so no excuses; check it out!
Folk-rock cover act Rippleton Cross will host another open mic event at Cole Farms this evening. The pair will be performing some tunes as well as encouraging others to get up on the microphone for some musical revelry as this free and all ages gathering gets underway at 7pm.
Acoustic Americana act Double Entendre will be playing a set at TJ’s Place this evening. This talented duo will start making some beautiful noise right around 5:30 during this free and all ages show.
Toby McAllister of local pop-rock band Sparks The Rescue goes solo tonight for an acoustic performance at Matterhorn Ski Bar in Newry tonight. Beginning at 5 o’clock Toby will be performing some of his favorite STR originals as well as some covers of popular tunes from the past 20 plus years.
Make some plans this Wednesday evening to check out the down-home and acoustic roots sounds of David Beam and Friends at Andy’s Old Port Pub. This lively bunch will be playing some great music for your midweek wind down so swing through and enjoy this free and all-ages show starting at 7.
Blue’s Irish Concert Series continues with a featured performance from Will Woodson and Eric McDonald. Will is an innovative and powerful young performer of traditional and contemporary music on Scottish bellows pipes, wooden flute, and tin whistle. Music starts at 7:30 and will be followed by another Wednesday evening Irish Session open to any and all musicians looking to get up on stage and jam.
Bull Feeney’s on Fore Street welcomes back Dave Rowe to the stage this Wednesday as Rowe plays his own brand of folk-infused drinking tunes starting at 8. There’s never, ever a cover charge and also never, ever a shortage of cold beer, so make some moves and check this fella out this evening.
Local artist Kraven Blak will be performing originals and covers on piano accompanied by Kate Squibb and April H at Flask Lounge this evening. Join them for some musical merriment as this free show gets started at 8pm.
Get your folk-pop on tonight with a free show from the Dapper Gents Duo as they return to the stage of RiRa for a free show that’ll get underway at 9 o’clock.
Pete Witham returns to The Frog and Turtle in Westbrook for some fun Americana and rockabilly music this Wednesday. Pete will be joined by a rotating cast of characters as they bring the good times and good tunes to the stage for this free show, which will start at 7:30pm.
