Tyler Lienhardt and Jake Hoffman will be bringing some old-time, folk, blues and world music to Frontier as part of the venue’s Live in the Lounge music series. This duo of talented local musicians will come together as the act Red-Eyed Fox to create some delightful sounds using fiddle, banjo, and guitar as this free all-ages event begins at 7:30pm.
Local jam band Hambone will be hosting an open jam tonight at The Kennebec Wharf. Tonight they welcome any and all musicians to join them and special guest Josh Shain for some musical merriment as this free shindig gets swinging at 9 o’clock.
Portland pop-rock act the Pete Kilpatrick Band will be bringing some afternoon fun out onto the deck of Portland Lobster Company. Enjoy some fresh air, cold drinks, good food, and good tunes with the fellas as they get started up at 12:30pm.
The Working Dead are bringing some grooves out to the patio of Portland House of Music once again this Wednesday evening. This trio of talented local musicians will be serving up some Happy Hour Grateful Dead jams during a free show that starts at 4:30pm.

Join the Dogfish Bar & Grille on Free Street in celebrating the 11th year of their Wednesday night open mic. This evening will feature the opportunity for artists to get up on the mic and perform as well as spotlight set of songs from local singer-songwriter Griffin Sherry of beloved hollerfolk act The Ghost of Paul Revere. A fun Maine music tidbit of info: The Ghost actually got their start performing together at Dogfish’s open mic so tonight’s event brings things full circle. Former Low Anthem member Jocie Adams stops by Portland this evening to perform under her new moniker Arc Iris. Adams is an eclectic composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist who draws inspiration from Zeppelin to Grizzy Bear, Joni Mitchell, Miles Davis and everything in between. Check her out as she and her band take the stage of Empire alongside opening act, Brooklyn’s Superhuman Happiness, the project of saxophonist Stuart Bogie (who plays with Arcade Fire, is a member of Antibalas, and more), starting at 9.

Pete Witham returns to Lenny’s at Hawkes Plaza in Westbrook for some fun Americana and rockabilly music this Wednesday. Pete will be joined by a rotating cast of characters as they bring the good times and good tunes to the stage for this free show, that’ll start at 7:30pm.
