Local pop-rock singer-songwriter Michael Krapovicky returns to his post as host for another Open Mic event at Pedro O’Hara’s. Starting at 6:30pm all musicians are welcome to sign up and perform some tunes in front of an audience of peers and music-lovers alike during this free and fun event.
Make some moves to the Portland Lobster Company on Commercial Street where you can enjoy some fantastic live music out on the deck with the Delta Knights as they serve up some R&B, blues, soul, funk, swing, rock, jazz and more. The fellas will be doing their thing at this free, all ages show starting right around 6 this evening.
Take in some bustling bluegrass and grab a slice of delicious Otto pizza at their lower Congress Street location as Joe Walsh and some of his talented friends serve up some satisfying, toe-tapping tunes starting at 8:30 tonight.
Funky Mondays continue to be the place to get down as Gina Alibrio and the Red Eye Flight Crew bring you some of the funkiest, fun and soul-filled sounds around. Alibrio’s impressive pipes are backed by a band made up of most of the members of Model Airplane so basically you’re guaranteed to have a wicked good time boogie-ing down to some terrific tunes as things get started at 9 over at Portland House of Music and Events.
Work it out at Flask Lounge in Portland with DJs OldNight, Zimbra and Doomsday J as they present another Primary Dance Party. The trio will be spinning some post-punk, synth-pop, New Wave and much more as tonight’s free dance party gets bumping right around 9 o’clock.
Check out some entertaining Open Mic action at the Kerrymen Pub in Saco where starting at 7:30 both solo musicians and full bands are welcome to take to the stage and do their thing in front of an audience of music lovers and peers alike. Tonight’s event is free and certain to be a lot of fun, so swing through if you’re in the area this Monday.
