Folk-rockers the Counting Crows and pop-rock singer-songwriter Rob Thomas are coming together for a show up at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor tonight. This all ages show starts up at 6 with an opening set from K Phillips.
Big Fat Cadillac will be playing tonight as part of the Music on the Mall summer concert series out on the Brunswick Mall this evening. Join the band for some swingin’, honky tonkin’, boogie woogie, Tex Mex, and roadhouse Americana as things get swinging right around 6 during this free all-ages affair.
Local jazz artist Viva will be bringing her vivacious vocals to Frontier tonight for their Live in the Lounge Music Series. Check out a midweek party filled with funk, jazz standards, soul songs and Latin tunes that are done by Viva and her talented band, The Reinforcements, with a fun and modern twist. Sparks The Rescue front man, Alex Roy goes solo and acoustic for an evening performance at The Brunswick in Old Orchard Beach. Starting at 7, check out some of Roy’s pop-rock jams as he plays a free set of songs right on through 11 o’clock.
The Working Dead are back to bring the good vibes to the patio of Portland House of Music and Events this evening. This trio of talented, local musicians will be serving up some Happy Hour jams during a free show that starts at 4pm. Check out the act’s fun covers of the Grateful Dead out on the patio.
The Porthole welcomes back local singer-songwriter Isaiah Bennett this evening as he performs a set of his own original acoustic pop and funk songs. Things get started at 6 o’clock, so stop through and check it out if you’re in the area this Wednesday evening.
In case you’ve been hiding out under a rock (which honestly, at times, I can’t blame you) then you’re well aware that Eric Bettencourt is back in town for the summer. This evening he joins a few pals for some rootsy rock and roll fun out on the deck of the Portland Lobster Company for his regular Wednesday night gig.
