Los Galactacos repertoire includes Tex/Mex folk, Appalachian string music, Canadian Maritimes fiddle tunes, the Classic American Songbook, ol’ time Country, and more. Blue’s Irish Concert Series continues this with a featured performance by Sean Clohessy and Ivan Goff. Clohessy is a fabulous fiddler originally from Fedamore, County Limerick and Goff, who is originally from Dublin and now based in Brooklyn, plays the uilleann pipes (Irish bellows-blown pipes), Irish wooden flute, and pennywhistles. The pair’s set begins at 7:30 and will be followed by another Wednesday evening Irish Session that is open to any and all musicians looking to get up on stage and collaborate.
