So it seems as though we made it through Monday unscathed and have settled nicely into Tuesday. Let’s make some moves and party it out at some of these awesome happenings that are taking place all around town and beyond tonight including Class Reunion at Empire, Scott Lank at The Porthole, Caroline Cotter at Blue, Ryan Halliburton & The Still at Portland Lobster Company, and more!

Everybody’s favorite soul singing dude Lyle Divinsky is ready to lay down some smooth soul, cool funk and rapturous R&B during another free, all ages show out on the patio of Portland House of Music this evening. Lyle will be serenading you from 5pm to 7pm so be sure to stop through and enjoy some killer tunes in the summer sun.

Local musician Scott Lank will be playing out at the Porthole on Commercial Street in Portland this evening. Starting at 6pm stop by to enjoy this free show featuring Lank’s performances of familiar classic rock and country from the 60s and 70s, as well a little bit of bluegrass, ballads and uptempo rockers.

Get your Tuesday evening started with a free show over at Portland Lobster Company as Ryan Halliburton and The Still bring some pop-rock tunes to the deck during a free all ages show that starts up at 6:30pm.

Local folk songstress Caroline Cotter will be performing a fun and intimate acoustic set of tunes down at Blue on Congress Street this evening. Beginning at 7 you can check out a free set of songs courtesy of Caroline as she plays straight through to the 8 o’clock hour.

Blue Prairie brings some country and western tunes to Andy’s Old Port Pub this Tuesday evening. Enjoy some toe-tapping sounds as things start up at 7pm.

90’s cover band Ice Cold Zima will be rockin’ their regular Tuesday night gig at Portland House of Music and Events. Travel back to a time of JNCO jeans, bucket hats, and bowl cuts with some cover tunes of No Doubt, Fiona Apple, The Cardigans, 4 Non Blondes, Green Day, Lauryn Hill, Bonnie Raitt, Stone Temple Pilots, Alanis Morissette, and more as things get jumpin’ right around 9.

Mousa, the experimental electro-folk project of Vinny Mousa aka Aleric ‘Vince’ Nez is back on stage at Blue tonight. Starting at 9 you can check out Mousa’s original dreamboat crooner songs full of ethereal lyrics on lush sonic backdrops.

Another Open DJ Night is happening again at Flask Lounge.  Starting at 9, you can sign up for a slot DJing on some open tables and all you need to bring are some records, CDs, and a pair of headphones! This event is absolutely free and always a good time, so go on and check it out.

Empire’s summer music series Rhythm & Tues rolls on tonight with house band Class Reunion. The band features a ton of talented local players performing a bunch of fun throwback funk, blues, and R&B covers so bust out those Party Jorts and get down upstairs starting at 9 o’clock.

Acoustic act Uke n’ Smile returns to Sea Dog Brewing Company in South Portland for another Open Mic this Tuesday evening. All artists of different skills and genres are welcome as this free, creative gathering gets underway at 8.
