The Big Chips Trio is bringing some fun Americana sounds to the Brunswick Mall tonight as part of the Music on the Mall summer concert series. Grab some pals and have some fun as this free all-ages show starts at 6.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH
Pop-rock and roller Alex Roy will be performing a set of original tunes and cover songs out on the patio of The Brunswick. Tonight’s event is free and sure to be fun so swing through if you’re in the area as the music starts up at 7 o’clock.
Tyler Lienhardt and Jake Hoffman will be bringing some old-time, folk, blues and world music to Hathorn Park this evening as part of the Pittsfield Summer Concert Series. This duo of talented local musicians will come together as the act Red-Eyed Fox to create some delightful sounds using fiddle, banjo, and guitar as this free all-ages event begins at 7pm.
The Working Dead are bringing some grooves out to the patio of Portland House of Music and Events once again this Wednesday. This trio of talented local musicians will be serving up some Happy Hour Grateful Dead jams during a free show that starts around 4 o’clock.
It’s Wednesday, which means The Porthole welcomes back local singer-songwriter Isaiah Bennett for his weekly gig out on the deck. This evening’s free show starts up at 6 with original songs that showcase Isaiah’s distinctive blend of acoustic pop and funk as well as some well-known cover tunes so if you’re downtown this evening makes some plans to swing through and check it out.
In case you’ve been hiding out under a rock (which honestly, at times, I can’t blame you) then you’re well aware that Eric Bettencourt is back in town for the summer. This evening he joins a few pals for some rootsy rock and roll fun out on the deck of the Portland Lobster Company for his regular Wednesday night gig. I anticipate lots of good times and good jams as this free show starts up at 6:30pm.
Another Wednesday means another installment of Blue’s Irish Concert Series with a featured performance this week from the Vox Hunters. The band’s set begins at 7:30 and will be followed by another Wednesday evening Irish Session that is open to any and all musicians looking to get up on stage and jam out.
Wind down another Wednesday with some acoustic roots tunes courtesy of David Beam and the Custom House Gang as this local act plays a free show at Andy’s Old Port Pub in the Old Port tonight. These fellas will get the good times rolling starting at 8pm.
Over at Bull Feeney’s you can check out another fun evening of folk tunes with local artist Dave Rowe. Rowe will be making music that pairs perfectly with an ice cold pint of beer, so swing through and check him out as this free show starts up right around 8.
New England Celtic Arts and One Longfellow Square present Celtic trio The East Pointers this evening as the act prepares to breath some new, original life into traditional Celtic tunes live on stage starting at 8 o’clock.
Check out some good tunes and good vibes going down at Portland House of Music as The Maine Dead Project returns to the stage tonight as part of their summer residency. These talented locals will be taking on the tunes of the Grateful Dead as this groovy gathering gets underway right around 9 o’clock.
Phish cover act Pardon Me, Doug is ready to bring some musical merriment to Riverbank Park in Westbrook this evening as they perform a free all-ages show featuring their renditions of Phish classics starting up at 6pm.
Pete Witham returns to The Frog and Turtle for some Americana and rockabilly music this Wednesday. Pete will be joined by a rotating cast of characters as they bring the good times and good tunes to the stage for this free show, which starts up around 7:30pm.
