The Maine Songwriters’ Association presents the season premier of their monthly series, Songwriters on Stage, tonight at Frontier in Brunswick. The event showcases some of the brightest songwriters in the state coming together to share their original compositions and stories. This month’s event features three seasoned performers alongside an emerging songwriter to kick the evening off. It’s an opportunity for listeners to discover new music as well as hear local favorites in one of the best listening rooms in Maine. Tonight’s concert gets started at 7 and features performances by Martin Swinger, John Schindler, Tom Mitchell, and Ted DeMille.

Your first chance happens during Happy Hour with The Working Dead as they play a free show out on the patio. Starting at 4 this talented trio will be playing all your favorite Grateful Dead tunes as well as some various covers from other beloved jam bands so make some plans to check it out.
