The Kevin Midgley Players return to Andy’s Old Port Pub with some Americana and Delta blues tunes. Join them for some good times, good tunes, and good brews as this free show starts up at 7.
Fat Knuckle Freddy is back at Blue this Tuesday evening. Freddy is a local composer, instrumentalist and a songwriter who plays and writes American Primitive Music on cigar box, resonator, Weissenborn, acoustic, and fretless guitars. Check out this fun night of of music as things get started up right around 7 o’clock.
Arguably one the world’s most famous female folk singer, Joan Baez will be bringing her distinctive, sweeping soprano to the stage of Merrill Auditorium tonight. This evening with Baez will begin at 8pm.
Another Open DJ Night is happening again at Flask Lounge. Starting at 9, you can sign up for a slot DJing on some open tables and all you need to bring are some records, CDs, and a pair of headphones! This event is absolutely free and always a good time, so go on and check it out.
Blue on Congress Street in Portland welcomes back local songstress Clara Junken to perform a set of tunes tonight. Acoustic act Uke n’ Smile returns to Sea Dog Brewing Company in South Portland for another Open Mic this Tuesday evening. All artists of different skills and genres are welcome as this free, creative gathering gets underway at 8.
