Guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Dave Jacquet is back at it again tonight as he hosts another free Open Mic at Cole Farms in Gray. Starting at 7 all musicians are welcome to join in on the fun with Dave and a few of his friends as they share songs and stories all evening long so be sure to stop in and check things out if you’re in the area this Wednesday.
The Matterhorn Ski Bar welcomes back local singer-songwriter Ron Bergeron for an evening filled with acoustic cover tunes. Ron will be performing tons of great songs starting at 7, including renditions of tunes by Elvis, The Stones, Queen, Paul Simon, Tom Petty, The Beatles and more. Stop in after you do a little skiing or snowboarding this Wednesday.

Rival Sons, the fuzzed-out classic rock revivalists from Los Angeles whose songs evoke the bluesy sound of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin and the Black Crowes, will be live at the Asylum tonight. Having spent some time opening for the mighty Black Sabbath, these gents know how to make things loud and awesome, therefore it’s only appropriate that the mighty 70s-tinged, stoner rock act Murcielago and high-energy prog-rock band Five of the Eyes open the evening with some local tunes as things get underway at 8 o’clock.
If you’re looking for some acoustic roots tunes to wind-down with this Wednesday, make your way over to Andy’s Old Port Pub in the Old Port as local act David Beam and The Custom House Gang serve up some fun and free tunes starting right around 8 o’clock.
Local singer-songwriter Cory Melanson returns to Flask Lounge this evening for a night of songs and stories. Join Cory for some acoustic tunes that’ll showcase not only his own original compositions, but also a ton of super fun covers. This free event will get started up at 8 o’clock.
