If you find yourself Fridaying up in the Central Maine area get on over to The Nocturnem Draft Haus in Bangor as they present another fine evening of jazz tunes and musical merriment with local act The Bill Barnes Trio. This free 21+ shindig gets swingin’ at 8 o’clock.
The Patio, an organization dedicated to finding, promoting, and booking new talented, local artists, will be presenting a variety of act during the Bath Heritage Days this weekend with a kick-off concert featuring the pop-rock sounds of local bands bands John Hughes Radio and The Band Apollo. Things get underway on the waterfront right around 6 o’clock.
Some serious getting down will be happening at Elements on Main Street this evening as they welcome jazz, funk and fusion act Sassquatch for some serious Friday fun. Get into the groove as things get fun and funky during this free all ages show starting up at 8pm.
The Daniel Inn Coast Bar + Bistro welcomes back local folk-rocker Brian Patricks. Patricks intertwines finger-style, rhythmic guitar with a hint of harmonica into his sets of originals and covers that span the folk, blues, roots and rock genres. Check out Patricks’ solo set as this free all-ages show begins at 7.
Hanging in Hallowell? Then check out the dead ahead, high-energy, 4-piece, dance-your-butt-off rock and roll band The Worthy Bones as they return to the Kennebec Wharf tonight for a free show that gets jumpin’ right around 9.
The Scolded Dogs are back to make some noise at the Easy Street Lounge tonight as they bring some more party-rockin’ tunes to the stage for another free show. Starting at 9:30 you can expect to hear some awesome originals as well as covers of such acts as Johnny Cash, Parliament, Snoop Dogg and more.

Crowd favorites Kilcollins will be pop-rockin’ and rollin’ at The Brunswick in OOB this afternoon. This troupe of talented dudes will be serving up some serious good times with their own original songs as well as anthemic cover tunes from 1p to 5p this Friday.
Head out to The Dunegrass Country Club in Old Orchard where Andi Fawcett will be getting the party started right around 7:30 this finally Friday. Andi will be bringing you some of the best original pop-rock tunes around, so grab some pals, a beverage, and a spot to enjoy some live, local music for free this evening.
The Brunswick is geared up for an eventful finally Friday featuring dance-pop cover act Tickle. Things get shaking at 8:30pm with a super party mix of some of the best music from today as well as some classic retro funk that’s guaranteed to get you grooving.
If you’re rockin’ it in Old Orchard Beach for the holiday weekend the make some plans to get out to the Pier Patio Pub for the Souled Out Show Band. Starting at 9 this fun band will be filling your evening with tons of danceable funk, rock and soul covers.
Don’t think you can play an instrument? You might find yourself thinking differently if you get the chance to check out today’s Casco Bay Uke Fest at St. Luke’s Cathedral in Portland. Bluegrass duo Darlin’ Corey is back at Blue tonight. Beginning at 6, you can stop by and check out the pair’s delightful blend of vocal harmonies, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and guitars that are used to make up some truly unique bluegrass, old timey, and folk sounds.
The Pat Foley Band will be bringing some acoustic country rock to The Porthole tonight. Join the band for some Friday fun out on the deck as things get swinging at 7.
Mellow your mind with some stellar jams out on the Portland Lobster Company deck during another fun night with the one and only A Band Beyond Description.
