Susto & Heyrocco perform at One Longfellow Square tonight

I’m sure your mums probably said something similar, but my mum always told me that if I didn’t have anything nice to say, then I probably shouldn’t say anything at all. So today I will abide by that rule as I talk about this week and how particularly not nice it’s been… That being said, enough of the Negative Nunz ranting and more of some Newz giving! It’s go-time so let’s do this thing and get ready to kick start the weekend! Let’s Thursday! Check out terrific tuneage such as Peter Finkle at Gritty’s in Auburn, Andrew Bailie at The Rack, The Cobblestones at Andy’s Old Port Pub, A Band Beyond Description at Gritty’s in Portland, Ice Cold Zima at Brian Boru, Highway Kind: A Celebration of Townes Van Zandt with the Seth Warner Trio at Lenny’s at Hawkes Plaza, and much more!

They’ll be joined by openers Heyrocco, a South Carolina-based trio that embraces the early 90’s alternative boom with a sound that contains the melodic sensibilities and hard driving guitar sounds that gave that era a refreshing burst of authenticity that made it distinctive from the proceeding decade.
